SUMMER SCHOOL ON
"CLIMATE VARIABILITY & CLIMATE CHANGE: ESTIMATING AND REDUCING UNCERTAINTIES"
Introduction: The main objective of the summer school is to bring together practitioners of IPCC-class climate models, the researchers from the theoretical climate dynamics, and dynamical- and complex-system experts to chart a path towards better understanding the sources of uncertainties in climate models, as well as estimating and reducing these uncertainties.

Financial support: Limited financial support is available. The need for support should be anticipated in the preliminary expression of interest and also in the formal application form afterwards.
Anticipated schedule:
Deadline of formal application: 31 December 2008.
Acceptance of applications (also for financial support): 28 February, 2009
