The ALATNET EU project is going to be finished at the end of February 2004. There was an idea raised during the ALATNET mid-term Review (spring, 2002, Brussels) that an opportunity should be sought for the young researchers for meeting and presenting their work carried out in the framework of the project. This last ALATNET seminar will be held in Hungary (Királyrét, 60 km North from Budapest, www.kiralyret.hu) with the organisation of the Hungarian Meteorological Service.
We made a block reservation in the Hotel. The price of the hotel with full board will be approximately 40 Euro. Most probably everybody will have a single room. The Hotel's restaurant has some special offer for vegetarians too if somebody needed.
After your arrival (afternoon, evening, 14th of October) to Budapest we are going to organise your trip to the seminar location. On Friday (17th of October) evening we will have arrange the travel to Budapest (due to the fact that several participant is going to leave Hungary Saturday morning). We made a block reservation at Hotel Papillon in Budapest for Friday night and for the next few days for those persons who will stay for the RC LACE Data Assimilation Workshop (held at the premises of the Hungarian Meteorological Service) organised just after the Seminar (20-22 October).
